He was getting MOM every single game for Ross County on BBC website . Quite impressive till I noticed it was voted for . I think he had very enthusiastic friends or family.:hehe:

That's how it was, it got picked up on in the loan thread. He was getting man of the match against Celtic and Rangers, in games Ross County were getting stuffed in and even when he'd come on as a late sub. The BBC don't have the same system going for the EFL or Eli would be would still be winning them every game, even though he hasn't been in the Stevenage matchday squad for weeks.
Not really, friends are a bit overrated in my opinion. Always asking you to do stuff and go to their weddings, not for me thanks. Each to their own though.
The thing about Eli was that it seemed believable at first. He'd been having a decent season and it was only Scottish football so it wasn't impossible that he was making an impression. Obviously, it wasn't quite as stellar as we'd first thought but he seemed to be a key player for Ross County and hopes were high that he'd kick on this season.
He picked up an injury in his last game up there, that seemed to affect his pre-season and he has never quite got going since. An oddly skittish performance from him in the cup for us probably cost him any chance he had of featuring in Bulut's plans and that appearance means we can't loan him to anyone else this season either.
Riza's been saying that it will be character building for him but he's already been through this at Crewe a couple of seasons ago, it's hard to look on the bright side of him stalling in League 1 at 22. It's not over yet for him though, of course, and hopefully he can turn things around soon.
I get a bit of stick on here from time to time for being critical of one of our homegrown products ( i wont say his name for fear of reprisal :hehe:) But i do hope that i've always been fair and that i have always highlighted the positives and ability of said player. I mention this because that's what i attempted to do with King in that game with Bristol Rovers. I sort of knew that i was clutching a bit, but i watched him closely for 10 minutes or so and i liked the fact that he really wanted to get on the ball, he was showing for it, maybe a little over eager, but understandable. The stuff he did with the ball was the problem, but i decided to try and see the positive, however scant they were on that evening. Agree with you over his previous loans, j think he's 22 now, and his future doesn't look like it's with us, although if he can somehow wangle a contract extension, and with the way things are going, i'm sure the club can accomodate Kings playing level by simply dropping down the leagues... :hehe:
As for the comments about having friends, i'm not sure you were being serious, but you sound just like me, the mere mention of a wedding brings me out in a rash, and if it doesn't, then i'll make sure i get one before the wedding date! You sound like my type of person..... :hehe::thumbup:
