Who knows whether a different UK Government would have seen lower figures, shouldn't the relevant question be would another Government have been as indecisive during February and early March in their decision making and in terms of preparation for what was coming?

What about the countless examples of governments around the world handling it better?

The government were told to close schools, restaurants and pubs in February and ignored it. How many people did that kill?

It doesn’t matter if someone else would have done it better, even I’d they wouldn’t have that doesn’t mean this government are beyond criticism.

It’s easy to see what should have been done earlier and that testing and tracking helps isolate it. Doesn’t matter where you are that’s how you do it.

I'd agree, imo the lockdown as is was designed to cater for London demographics. I don't think it's necessarily appropriate for more rural areas.

Until the cases /deaths in London are dealt with, can't see lockdown being lifted.

Why? If, say, a Labour Government had been as indecisive as this lot were, then the figures would be very similar I would have thought. However, what we know for certain is we've got a Conservative Government that was undoubtedly indecisive for a period of five or six weeks, almost certainly, to the detriment of the country.
