Phoenix 96 has been the best festival I have attended.
Brilliant line up and a fabulous time (traffic aside).

I went to a couple of Lollapalooza’s and as much of a Janes Addiction/Perry Farrell fan as I am...
It just didn’t cut it compared to UK festivals.

Been planning on Coachella for a while.
Hopefully next year.

Nothings shocking is groundbreaking

And porno for pyros did some good stuff too

I've been once, 1990 and loved every minute of it. Happy Mondays who were my favourite band at the time were rubbish. But the whole experience was brilliant. Didn't buy a ticket, but jumped the fence.

Didn't even have a tent, but luckily bumped into a few lads from Brynmawr who let us crash in theirs.
Couldn't believe how big the site was.
Would I go again? I'm not sure. Would you?

My first time was 1982 :old:

Went to see Aswad.

Went the next 4 years. All a total blur!

Really enjoyed watching Bowies set on BBC 2 last night and him reminiscing about playing there in 1972.

They had mixed showers when I was up there. Due to the amount of whizz I'd taken I had a knob like a field mouse so there was no way I was using them :hehe:

Yeah I was at the one in Stratford.
Missed David Bowie and Neil Young due to the traffic.
Amazing line up throughout the whole weekend.
Great weather and great times.

Had to give away tickets see Perry at a tiny bring your own booze venue in DC last year and was gutted.

The Mrs and my “song” if you like, is “Summertime Rolls“
