Certainly does to me, although more pronounced on Brexit related topics in all honesty.

I don't know what you are saying here
You are posh and so are all your mates and only you vote Tory and all the rest vote Labour because they have enough cash for the cost of left wing policies not to bother them and they do it out of some kind of misguided guilt ?
I am fortunate to live in an area which is affluent the people I know don't votectorh because they don't like the conservatives it's no more complicated than that

I'm saying most of the most left wing people I know are pretty wealthy. Most of the most vocal 'remainy' people I know were certainly wealthy.
Just my observation

That obviously depends where you live and who are you are friends with.
You defend the Tories on just about everything I suspect you may be a Councillor for them or something.
But the huge majority of left wing people are obviously not wealthy. To suggest otherwise would be ridiculous.
On the flip side after Kinnock lost to Thatcher he was asked what would happen to him. His reply was he'd be ok and financially be better off under Thatcher but he wasn't in it for the money.

Explain to me what good would a tax cut do you when you ring for an ambulance? I’d love to know.

The prime minister and a few days later mordaunt have repeated the lie about labour and tax
And their disciples are still trotting out the same old rubbish
It's staggering especially as it's sunak and the Tories who are the party in charge of the current situation where independent analysts state that the Tories are in no position to talk about taxation and indeed are fibbing through their pants about it

If you cross the higher threshold pay the excess into your pension, ideally by salary sacrifice to avoid paying the 40/45p. £50K should be enough for most people in Wales unless you have a massive mortgage or daft car loans/finance/lease agreements.

Everyone with a brain knows, the problem is many have forgotten and some are too young, they'll know in five to ten years for sure.

They are both ends of the spectrum, many love the additional handouts at the bottom, and at the top work in the NHS, Civil Service bods, and Headmaster types who also benefited.

I don't want massive wastage, increased benefit payments, increased immigration, increased government jobs, and tax rises either.

That is nonsense, and I didn't vote for Brexit.
But we won't know the full effects of Brexit for another three to five years, Covid and the war in Ukraine and increased energy costs, both causing a hike in inflation have been the main problems over the last four to five years.

In Germany, where they have a centre-left govt in power, the situation is worse, so that would suggest the solution to the issues we face isn't just voting in a centre-left govt, no?
Once youve stopped laughing perhaps you can explain that one?

I can explain it by stating that the centre left govt in Germany is crap
Because its crap , not because its centre left

Now it's my turn to laugh 😂.
You can't provide a single example can you?
If it isn't global issues causing problems, then show me where in the western world isn't suffering / suffered the same problems as us?
There is a choice of about 50 countries or so, so it shouldn't be hard.
The risk here is that you are selling a lie, and then in a fairly short period people look around and say, well the Tories didn't work...Labour dont work either..and then where do they look?

He hasn't got a clue about the economy, he's probably laughing because Mammy and Daddy told him it was big bad Rishi's fault, so vote Labour.

In my working life and as a pensioner, I’ve seen a change to Conservative from Labour in 1979, from Conservative to Labour in 1997 and the change to Conservative in 2010. I can’t remember feeling obviously worse off at the end of those Governments, yet as this one is, hopefully, coming to an end, I’m definitely worse off than I was fourteen years ago. I’m talking financially there, I’m not even thinking about the decline in the NHS, other poorer public services, worse trains, shit in our rivers and the way hardly anyone under forty can buy a house. A few months back, the Tories tried to tell us that Labour would take us “back to square one” - it was soon dropped because people were saying square one looks pretty good compared to what we’ve got now.
-
Re: Conservatives Vote Getting Split
It's not hard is it.
Tbh, I entirely understand the argument that after a decade and a half it's time for a new party. I get that, and I would argue the same in the senedd. I also get the argument that I think Bob makes sometimes about punishing them for partygate and scandals and things.
But the argument the economy is "crashed" and the problems caused by the govt etc. I'm sorry that's not true and it's kinda dangerous stuff as the new govt will face the same problems.
As I said, name a single western country not facing the same problems to a greater or lesser extent.
Can any of you do that?
-

You are bound to feel poorer your wage has stopped.

The truth and common sense doesn't fit the narrative, it's all the government's fault, they loved the furlough, but don't like paying the money they were given back.
It will take years and a Labour government won't help, they will see come back to this thread in five years!
