I'd pass on Kaba, although he would be better than nothing
Strikers tend to move in the last week of the window. They are the true currency of the transfer market. Just like Robinson a couple seasons ago, I would expect a striker to be our last signing and for our highest fee paid.
Looks like van Hooijdonk may be available for free. Bologna want rid and he is currently training with NEC Breda, one of Hollands smaller teams

This should be a thing for deadline day - players can only sign for teams if they can reach them by hot air balloon before 11pm.

If he does come, I hope that he has more about him than his father, who was a real pain at Forest.

Spooky are we all on a ley line? Could ley lines explain player transfers?

Signing suspended players is of limited value. And there's inflation to be considered as well.

Kevin Hector retired a long time ago but Troy Parrott of Alkmaar is available - and on higher perches, obviously.

Yes, that was before he went on strike.

These are the kind of players that would get the Homer crowd excited.

If we do sign a Greek player, let's hope there are no no problems with flights.
Otherwise getting here could be a bit of an Odyssey.

Echo and the Bunnymen once did a tour based on ley-lines :music: however it is unclear if Hot Air balloon was the chosen mode of transport.

Speaking of Hull..... have you noticed that, unusually, the river it's located on determines its abbreviated title rather than the settlement name that precedes it?
Stratford-upon-Avon
Richmond upon Thames
Newcastle-on-Tyne
Berwick-upon-Tweed
Upton-upon-Severn (where I was last week for the Blues Festival)
Kingston upon Hull
Just sayin'

Burnley offered 3m for Isaac Davies , Cardiff wanted 8m…‘then sent him on loan!’ Bellamy mentions in a Q and A session

If he signs.
Although isn't he supposed to be a different type of player from Siopis?

Wilfried Kanga will undergo a medical at Cardiff tomorrow.
The forward will be joining from Hertha Berlin.
