Abramovic's assets frozen inc. Chelsea.
ST holders only apparently.
While were doing sanctions, why don't we carry on and do the other countries like those ****s that are bombing Yemen? Lets not just stop at Russia

Re: The War starts Putin announces "Military Operation" in Ukraine. Explosions heard in Kyiv
Following on from that
Due to sanctions on Roman Abramovich, sale of Chelsea FC is on hold and the club cannot sell tickets, merchandise or transfer players.

I wonder what the away fans situation is? They, obviously, only buy one Chelsea FC match ticket, home clubs keep gate receipts but the report says that Chelsea can’t sell tickets or merchandise.

They can't sell any more tickets so if any non season ticket holder already has a ticket for a future match, then that is still valid. They just can't sell any more.

The naivety of this post is astounding, but indicative of the complete lack of 'mainstream' journalism that effectively critiques US/UK foreign policy. As for the number of child deaths caused by the US/UK, if we are talking about all wars within living memory and not just a single conflict - instead of hundreds or thousands, try millions.

Agree wholeheartedly but I highly doubt that the US and UK, without whom Saudi would not be able to bomb Yemen, are going to sanction themselves.
As pointed out in another thread by TOBW, this is not an unpatriotic 'political stance', this is merely fact, highlighted by people who are disgusted at the atrocities carried out by our governments in our name, which are not representative of the general population.

And with the exception of Central African Republic that's exactly what I described - in fact all of the others you have listed moves them closer to that future aim, which will in fact include 2 African nations in Libya & Ethiopia - counties they already have ties with.

Whats to stop Turkey (a Nato member) stopping all russian traffic through Istanbul to the Black Sea? If Russia took Odessa then they'd only hold the northern part of the Black sea as Turkey holds the coastline to the South with Romania and Bulgaria to the West.
And the only way into the Black sea is through Istanbul so if the turks blocked them then Russia would just be sailing around in circles.
Just my view of course.

Not really, the US / UK / NATO have to be accountable ( and they truly are ) , Russia certainly isn't going down that road, Putin doesn't care
we know that Civilians accidentally get killed ( thats is the sad fact of a war ) but the difference once again, when you read the Russians using cluster bomb / vacuum bomb on civilian targets ( shelling a evacuation route for example ), only a idiot would compare that with accidental collateral damage from NATO

Médecins Sans Frontières want a word!
A year ago the UK was found guilty of war crimes but no charges brought, that's accountability.

The first casualty of every war is the truth.
We are being prepped 24/7 to blame our current and forthcoming woes on Vladimir Putin. He's already badder than nasty Nick Cotton off Eastenders and Coronation Street's terrible Terry Duckworth combined.
When we're freezing our conkers off and wondering whether the tinned dog food is fit for human consumption we must always blame Putin to the exclusion of all others.

One other point re your question.
I don't see this current situation as being the events of Ezekiel 38 (Armageddon), but I do see these events as moving that battle much nearer. Once you have control of the Black Sea, then you can sail through to the Med and Jerusalem is an easy target.
It could be months, years or decades before that failed attack on Israel happens; but did you know that given this Biblical knowledge of the future, that Israel has reflooded the area around Lake Hula (Northern Israel near the dangerous border with Syria); these swamps around the lake were drained in the 1950s but reflooded in 1994 - this will seriously hamper the ground attack from the North.

Israel. Probably the only nation on earth that could be the catalyst for diametrically opposed cultures , ie USA & the west, the Middle East & Pakistan, Russia, to go to war, head to head.

The coming financial collapse, green revolution, and move to digital was on the cards long before Putin invaded Ukraine, and as you point out he will get the blame for everything.

Can you give me an example of where NATO countries have been held accountable for their actions? NATO bombed Libya, which was not a defensive action. Were they ever held accountable?
In 2017 the US reversed a law to ban their own use of cluster munitions by the end of 2018.
ttps://www.hrw.org/news/2021/09/15/us-commit-joining-cluster-munitions-ban#
Were the US and UK ever held accountable for their many, many war crimes and illegal invasion of Iraq?
Let's not even get started on NATO allies such as Saudi and Israel, one of which has killed an estimated 377,000 people in Yemen (estimated to reach 1.3 million if the bombing continues until 2030) and the other is an apartheid state that regularly murders civilians, including children.
Just collateral damage though, eh?
Organ is bang on the money with this one. Watch the crimes of the West increase further over the coming years as we now have another pantomime villain to blame for everything.

I don't think that will help much if cruise missiles are involved though, as per Ukraine! Israel could be destroyed without a single Russian/Iranian soldier setting foot in there.

He’s hardly a pantomime villain. He’s a blood hungry madman. Whether or not our government use this as a cover, doesn’t change that fact.
