Were the US and UK ever held accountable for their many, many war crimes and illegal invasion of Iraq?
Let's not even get started on NATO allies such as Saudi and Israel, one of which has killed an estimated 377,000 people in Yemen (estimated to reach 1.3 million if the bombing continues until 2030) and the other is an apartheid state that regularly murders civilians, including children.
Just collateral damage though, eh?
accountable -
1.
required or expected to justify actions or decisions; responsible.
2.
able to be explained or understood.
Both the UK and US were investigated for Iraq war crimes, you can google the results, the same for Afghanistan
not sure on the point you are taking about the US and use of cluster bombs ? ? ? just because the US have reversed a ban, doesn't make it right that Putin currently use them ,I guess its just a classic case of whataboutism
So NATO are responsible to NATO Allies now, maybe we can blame to UK for BAE manufactured equipment being used around the world aswell
The point I was making, while the UK / US / NATO are accountable for actions ( and you only have to google that ), Putin doesn't care and is just sticking his 2 fingers up to the west / world

The UK and US were investigated for war crimes? That went well; Blair and Bush haven't spent a single day in jail whilst the journalist that exposed their war crimes rots in Belmarsh.
Whataboutism is a poor defence I'm afraid, not even going to dignify that.
Abso-bloody-lutely the UK are responsible for BAE. They grant the export licences to BAE and are supposed to be responsible for making sure that any arms sold aren't used to target civilians or violate international law. Government ministers attend arms fairs to help sell BAE's products! The RAF train the Saudi pilots and maintain the Saudi aircraft, BAE supply the weapons and maintain the weapons systems. They have thousands of staff based in Saudi. All the Saudi pilot has to do is get the plane in the air and press the button.
I wonder what your thoughts on this would've been before Putin invaded.

Yes, they will attack with the deadliest of weapons and Ezekiel 39:9 provides a clear pointer to at least the use of tactical nuclear weapons.
See this comment on that section >> Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 talk about an alliance of nations coming against Israel during the Tribulation period. This prophecy, on the surface, is pretty simple to understand. God will destroy all but 1/6 of the attacking nations armies, their losses will be so great that Israel will be able to burn their weaponry for seven years, it will take over seven months to bury the dead bodies of the attackers, and Israel will need to lay down markers for some of the dead bodies.
The book of Ezekiel was written by the prophet himself while in Babylonian exile between 593 and 571 B.C. There are a few parts to this prophecy that could not be understood until modern times. For example, how could their ancient weaponry burn for seven years? Again, we have to understand that these ancient prophets were trying to describe weapons that would not exist for over 2,000 years.
I am not going to focus on the attackers as that will be an entire lesson of its own. This lesson will focus solely on the odd weapons that can burn for seven years and the signs that are to be placed by certain dead bodies.
"And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years: So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord God." - Ezekiel 39:9-10
Ancient weapons consisted of materials made out of gold, silver, bronze, iron, copper, and wood for example. None of those materials can burn for seven years; however, you can burn uranium for up to 100 years. Uranium can be used not only to power nuclear power plants and create nuclear bombs, but when depleted, can create weapons that would resemble items such as bows and arrow. It can also create armor (shields and bucklers).

It does seem to have resurrected a few posters who's track record includes claiming Syrian/Russian air attacks on civilians were false flags, as was the Novochek attack on the Skripals in Salisbury and any suggestion by Western Intelligence reports and government agencies of Russian attempts to influence democratic elections were hoaxes.
Now we get a diet of Russian talking points harvested from "free-thinking" sources, (the bizarre suggestion that the best place for a US chemical weapons lab is in a potential war-zone, sanctions are going to ruin our economy long before the Russians), that kind of thing.
The most charitable interpretation is that they are so self-absorbed in their own "brilliance", that they are just useful idiots for Russian propaganda. They could be third rate fellow travellers I guess.
Set against that, a bit of wild interpretation of fire and brimstone from the Old Testament is a bit of light relief

Seems like the majority of the rusky public are behind the atrocities being carried out in Ukraine. Could be time for things to start going bang in Moscow and st.Petersburg

It was, and scoffers in the last days are also mentioned in the Book, so they also get a mention

Ah, so the aim is to wear new posters down within six months - challenge accepted :hehe:
I admit I've gone a bit heavy with the Yemen comparisons and am very critical of the US and UK governments but it's an area of interest for me that I've felt strongly about for a while.
Y'know, not like the lesser beings who've only been enraged by Putin and Russia for the last few weeks :hide:

I don't know if you used to post under a different name, and don't care. But you are 100% correct on US/UK and Yemen.

Doubt it. It's just that I hate overblown unsubstantiated bullshit.
