Just listened to giggs come back interview with rio. He's worth a bet.
Hugely underrated wales manager.
He moved on Ashley williams gunter ledley vokes etc when all still playing at quite a high level and brought in rodon Mepham brooks and james before they had developed. Very brave thing to do and we still qualified automically in his 1 campaign!
All through wales history after success we then have years and years in the wilderness. It's what s always has happened. Giggs is a huge reason that hasn't happened this time.
It's hard to look past his scum bag characteristics, although we were playing decent stuff under Giggs once he was settled. From a purely footballing point of view, i wouldn't be too bothered if he ended up with us. He's probably more disliked by City fans because he didn't commit to Wales, only magnified by Bale's commitment to the cause.
Here's one view on it https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football...s/c0r54p51ykxo
I've heard about this guy whose managed in Greece and wants to manage in the UK. Erol Bulut. Oops done that one
Strasbourg head coach Liam Rosenior has extended his contract at the club until June 2028.
The 40-year-old turned down multiple approaches from Premier League clubs to commit to the Ligue 1 side.
Under the leadership of president Marc Keller in collaboration with ownership group BlueCo — who also own Premier League side Chelsea — Strasbourg are on course for an historic season by challenging for European qualification. They are currently seventh in Ligue 1 — which could get them there — with only four rounds of fixtures remaining.
Strasbourg have done that only once since 2005, yet even then (2019-20) they fell short of making the Europa League group stage after losing a play-off to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Strasbourg have the youngest squad in Ligue 1 with an average starting age of 21.4 years, according to transfermarkt, and are among the youngest squads in European football history.’
Rosenior, 40, was sacked as Hull City head coach in May 2024 despite being nominated for Championship manager of the 2023-24 season along with Kieran McKenna and Daniel Farke.
A former full-back, Rosenior started his managerial career at Derby County, having been appointed as interim head coach following the resignation of Wayne Rooney in June 2022 and joining Hull later that year on a two-and-a-half year contract.
We need Bellamy, but he's busy with Wales.
Hire new DOF, get Bellers and back him. Can do a Birmingham
I think Giggs could motivate some of these sloppy fuuckers with a quiet word saying "Sunshine, if you don't buck up your ideas, you're going on loan to Elgin City and I'll be popping round yours to see how your missus is doing?"
Throw in a bit of football knowledge and Giggs could be the perfect motivator?
i know he just got relegated too... but id give mark hughes a look
plenty of grit left in them teeth, little bit of passion required, better than the loast 2 stale sandwiches we just had
Daniel Farke may be available. If anybody can get us a double promotion to the Premier League it's him.
Didn't want to start a new thread but someone mentioned Eric ramsey. He's had an interview for Southampton.
I'd like ramsey and ramsey for us.
Ramsey street. Neighbours.
Sorry should have put a link

Result's wise, he's not exactly tearing up trees in America, so this interview seems a bit odd. I think he needs to concentrate on creating a body of work that says look how great I am .. and maybe stay in one job for more than a year? Ampadu's Dad is doing better over there, but he's only the assistant manager.
I suspect this thread will still be active pushing into late July as the club meticulously go over every candidate before deciding the next manager was hiding in plain sight at the club the whole time.
Des Buckingham is probably the best of the genuinely realistic options available.
Ramsey has said he probably wouldn't want to be player-manager. "I don't think you can do both, it would be one or the other. So, we will see."
I’m not the best with logic but as he’s also said he wants to play until the World Cup that means he’s not interested in being a manager next season?
