Re: The Donald Trump thread
What do you think Trump would have to do to have his supporters start to have doubts in him?
Is there a limit?

Cross that bridge if and when he comes to it. No real impact so far.

Latest polls may suggest otherwise.

It's only been a month. Incredible
It was an interesting discussion, but they completely avoided the Vance Munich speech, which is the elephant in the room regarding EU/US relations.

He's doing exactly what he said he would do in his election manifesto, so why would they complain?

That’s why I used the word “may” .

Politico (and their pollsters) have just had all of their USAID funding cut and we are now in a propaganda war of attrition.

His continued endorsement of the clot shots.
Re: The Donald Trump thread
I think he just needs to continue doing what he's doing. Everyone will come to realise eventually except for those mentally retarded.

Why if it leads to an end to the war and peace?

Because the aggressor will have won - a negotiated settlement involving both sides is fine, but that’s not what we’re getting in this case.

Aggressors do win a lot of the time unfortunately.
Long way to go on this really but I'm not sure Stevos analysis will prove to be correct tbh
Re: The Donald Trump thread
The orange one has now said Zelensky is not very important in meetings.

Inn this case it will lead to a peace entirely on Putin's terms thanks to Trump the appeaser.

We just don't know that. We dont know the terms. I think the Russian speaking parts of Ukraine are the very least of what he wanted and certainly not everything he wanted. We also don't know what it means for prevention of any Russian incursion in the future.
But you are right. It is peace through appeasement but the alternative is war, potentially a war almost without end and a war that is devastating for Ukraine but also for Europe generally.
The only alternative is the total defeat of Russia, which seems staggeringly unlikely or the death of Putin which will obviously happen one day but we don't know who would replace him and either way that throw of the dice applies whether you seek peace or not
