Cardiff City are said to be monitoring both Loga Tómassyn and Valgeir Lunddal.
Kortrijk's interest in Loga has not waned, and clubs in the Netherlands are also eyeing Loga
Clubs from Germany have also shown interest in Valgeiri Lunddal - his contract expires at the end of the year

Loga Tomassyni

Not a a lot.
Both are current Internationals:-
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logi_T%C3%B3masson
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valgei...i%C3%B0riksson
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icelan..._football_team
The right back is 6'3". If we are looking to sign another right back I presume that Romeo is on his way (unless they are sent to Kortrijk for a season)

We'll probably end up in a bidding war with them!

He seems the more likely to get a 'big' move (sic), given he's a leftie.

An upgrade on Collins? Hard to tell, but we need to improve our quality from the wide areas. We can criticise whoever played at 9, but the delivery and supply from the wide areas was, on times, dire last season. The full backs rarely got beyond and wide of the wingers, but of course that could of been the coaching

Re: The Transfer Window Rumours thread
Just been listening to the Second Tier podcast and their episode on "The top 10 free agents in the Championship!" Would be happy with any of these except for the JB:
1) Callum O'Hare
2) Tyrese Campbell
3) Sam McCallum
4) Paddy McNair
5) Marek Rodák
6) Oli McBurnie
7) Ian Poveda
8) Oliver Norwood
9) Shandon Baptiste
10) Alex Mowatt (episode was recorded before he re-signed with WBA)
Who would you most want from this lot? Are any of them realistic for us? I'm guessing no. I'm guessing we'd have to offer a fair chunk to get them to even look in our direction.
A quick search and it looks like Leeds are strongly linked to a few of them! The rich get richer, I guess.

Someone on Twitter reckoned Leeds offered Drameh a contract but only so anyone signing him would have to pay a fee. Not sure how true that is, and even less sure how this would affect us.

he turned down a contract offer from them in January apparently, and Birmingham had an option to buy built into their loan agreement- presumably this hasn't been activated after their relegation and he's now free to go anywhere.

IIRC, by offering him a contract, they will be entitled to a 'training' fee, due to his age, of some 4-500K'ish.

Because of the Tinplate works. The workers used to wrap towels around their heads to help protect them from the heat.

Sheffield Wednesday and their batshit owner have made six signings already with a seventh imminent and another 2-3 lined up for next week.

Re: The Transfer Window Rumours thread
WalesOnline upDAtE;
It is understood that talks with as many as three prospective targets are progressing positively and we could even see movement as early as next week, with players in defence, midfield and attack all being spoken to.

Re: The Transfer Window Rumours thread
here's the latest according to Abbandonato
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/CardiffCityFC?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@CardiffCityFC</a> update. Moves advancing for 5-6 signings, 2 strikers, winger, midfielder & poss 2 defenders. Hope to make 1st announcements next week, but often things don’t go to plan. To be funded by mix of outgoings, freeing up wages, plus Tan/Dalman dipping into their pockets</p>— Paul Abbandonato (@PaulAbbandonato) <a href="https://twitter.com/PaulAbbandonato/status/1809172258721497547?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">July 5, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
