Morrison lucky there. Wrong side of his man then slips.

Does Harry Wilson use the same make up artist as renowned pantomime dame Wyn Calvin?

Sixth place is wide open if Rotherham beat Bournemouth tomorrow.

I liked those substitutions. Not at the time - but with hindsight (especially Bagan) they were inspired!
And 35% possession - back in the comfort zone.

Upped our game 2nd half. Must be horrible to play us when we're on our game. May be ugly football but bloody effective.

Pause it on a BIG screen, he’s offside

Bagan and Bacuna both did really well when they came on. Bagan looks to be developing a bit of confidence as well.

much more comfortable seeing out the game with a couple of subs on compared to Coventry where we ran the players into the ground

A player is only offside if the referee deems he is. Therefore not offside.

Bagan did well and I think you're right, he's improving all the time. He can certainly pick a pass well.
I like Bacuna in midfield and would hope we never ever see him playing full back again.

The work rate was immense tonight. Pack and Vaulks were everywhere.
A moment of brilliance from Wilson otherwise a bit quiet.

I'm so glad we went out of the cup early on for this reason.
Tonight was good but still think we've got harder tests to come. Could start the same eleven against Preston and would be favourites but (probably) can't do that Saturday, midweek, Saturday on repeat and maximise chances of success against Bournemouth and Boro. Huddersfield aside, March looks like a tough month too, especially with massive international games (x2) into the mix.
Vaulks and Nelson really enjoying playing under MM though and it's good to see.

Yes there was good energy from Bacuna and Bagan when they came on . I thought Watters looked a little lost though

Never offside, ref didn’t give it, linesman didn’t, not even mentioned by the pundits and more pointedly Nathan Jones, who no doubt had studied the monitors before his post match interview and would have definitely brought it up had he thought they’d been hard done by, criticised his defenders with no hint of an offside gripe. The ball was launched from way back and Flint was ok.

Its no coincidence that we have won the last four with Bacuna out of the side. He doesn't put enough effort in and our midfield is wide open with him in it.

Bacuna certainly looked to me like he wasn't happy playing at fullback under Harris, some of his play looked half arsed at times.
