If we are sticking with Goutas and Chambers all season we are going down.

A decent manager could get a tune out of this squad. Bulut isn't a decent manager

Re: BURNLEY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The difference in quality here is night and day. We don’t need 3 or 4 more signings. We need 11.
-
Re: BURNLEY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
We are carrying on in the poor form at the end of last season. I fear the worst.
Bulut out? Won't be long if we carry on like this.
-
Re: BURNLEY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Defensively we are very poor. Not sure that McGuinness should be sold.

Half an hour ago everyone was saying what great football we were playing! Burnley are letting us have possession because they know we cannot do anything with it! Last season we snatched undeserved away wins are we now getting undeserved away defeats?

It's fine, sell our best defender and the only young player who gets a look in, reinvest half of it on some journeyman Turkish or Greek 31 year old, perfectly normal way to run a football club. Things are looking up.

Re: BURNLEY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
i thought people were happy with the new signings, saying things like " happy with that " " nice bit of business" etc etc
Some people are never happy:hehe:

Don't think there are many times you can say 3-0 is an undeserved defeat.

He shouldnt. Unless it's a silly offer.

Re: BURNLEY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Any chance we can blame the grey kit?

It was my attempt at humour!

Hovarth is having a shocker. Mispasses it to Chambers who is lucky to keep hold of it.

I’m sure he shouldn’t, but needs must as it seems we’ve not got anyone else anyone wants.

agreed... gone by xmas or sooner hopefully

Re: BURNLEY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The Championship is not rocket science. Be solid in both boxes(!) you have a decent chance of the playoffs. Sadly for us, we cannot defend and up front we are as potent as a mocktail. Bottom 5 for sure.

Re: BURNLEY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
O'Dowda reminds me of Jimmy from Quadrophenia..

Re: BURNLEY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
We are only going one way with this clown in charge and it's not to the Premier League.
Almost certainly allowing the sale of our best centre half. Absolute madness!
-
Re: BURNLEY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I’d have chucked on the other 4 subs as soon as the third went in

Willock’s having a good game.

Re: BURNLEY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
It'll be good to see how Fagan-Walcott gets on. It's just a shame he's playing alongside that liability

Best one watches.what happens before it gets to our defence. .
We will need 3 wins on the bounce which will be tough.
Sadly I thought in the first half we were possibly the better side ...
Keeper at fault first one .
Second they ran from the halfway.
Third doesn't help anyone if the Keeper starts to come out and then goes back.
Again midfield have not delivered.

Why has Chambers gone off? Injured or shite?

Well there’s the first goal. And I thought he rushed out and was in no mans land for the third. But the comment was mainly about the first

Re: BURNLEY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
In case anyone is wondering, we've had a goal difference of -5 after our first two games on 4 occasions so far. The last time was August 1989, when we lost 2-0 at home to Bolton and 3-0 at Tranmere. We've never had a worse goal difference than -5 after 2 games.

I was wondering that too as I’m not listening to or watching the match just following on here and BBC Sport.

Re: BURNLEY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
This is not an improvement on last season. If anything it’s worse. Can’t see Bulut lasting long.
-
Re: BURNLEY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Here we go Robinson and Tanner on, goals galore.

Re: BURNLEY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
our next apponents are 3-0 up :hehe:
