Sheffield Wednesday and their batshit owner have made six signings already with a seventh imminent and another 2-3 lined up for next week.

WalesOnline upDAtE;
It is understood that talks with as many as three prospective targets are progressing positively and we could even see movement as early as next week, with players in defence, midfield and attack all being spoken to.

Re: The Transfer Window Rumours thread
here's the latest according to Abbandonato
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/CardiffCityFC?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@CardiffCityFC</a> update. Moves advancing for 5-6 signings, 2 strikers, winger, midfielder & poss 2 defenders. Hope to make 1st announcements next week, but often things don’t go to plan. To be funded by mix of outgoings, freeing up wages, plus Tan/Dalman dipping into their pockets</p>— Paul Abbandonato (@PaulAbbandonato) <a href="https://twitter.com/PaulAbbandonato/status/1809172258721497547?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">July 5, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

So all positions covered, but the safety new of "often things don't go to plan" incase it doesn't happen. Fair play. He sounds ITK as ****. James from the fryers @KCF could have wrote that ffs :hehe:

Tanner isn't up to this level, Robinson has obviously had a problem with Bulut, he's so far off it, absolutely awful. Wintle,is well..........Wintle......He's not shit, but he need a defining role in my opinion. He sufferes because the players around him have similar traits.

Re: The Transfer Window Rumours thread
I think Tanner being written off as L2 at best is harsh.
He's got good attributes. His first full season at the level. He did ok.
Rino , Romeo , Adams need moving on. I'd loan out Etete for the season as well.

I can’t remember watching Wintle and thinking that was a good tackle, or what a great pass, he can’t be a 10 as there is almost zero creativity from him!
If he’s a DM, then I don’t see him breaking up play or being someone who imposes himself on the game, imho he offers very little other than being able to pass the ball sideways at every opportunity!!
He doesn’t score goals, is poor at set pieces, and half the time you wonder what he’s actually doing on the pitch
Let’s be honest, no one from the Premier League is going to make a bid for him, and any championship side chasing a top 6 place would want better
He’s playing in the Championship for us because he’s cheap, this is he’s peak
Personally I wouldn’t keep him as a squad player
I’d forgotten about Adam’s who looks like he’s joining Derby anyway after having a decent loan spell there

I wonder if Tan's view is that Bulut is Dalman's project and that he should be the one lending the club money to finance his transfers as well as Tan himself ?

I knew the ship out lists would be bigger, so I flipped the question :hehe:
The midfield definitely needs a shake up, it could alter the way the whole team plays. You cant have Wintle, Ralls, Siopis etc in the same midfield. You've got nearly the same player x 3. Revamp the midfield and you might spark some life into players such as Colwill, Robinson etc. Wishful thinking? Most likely.

Perhaps Enoch. I just found it a peculiar comment, might just be me of course. Do we have a power shift coming?

One can only speculate. There was a noticeable delay in confirming Bulut's contract extension and, by all accounts, it was down to Tan although we don't know why. I would assume there was something about the whole deal that Tan was not happy with. Of course, aren't the club already indebted to Dalman in the region of £30m ? If so, Dalman contributing to the transfer fund is not so strange after all.

Re: The Transfer Window Rumours thread
Nat Phillips maybe joining Trabzonspor. Negotiations are ongoing, waiting for the player’s decision.
