If so, Dalman contributing to the transfer fund is not so strange after all.
Makes sense.

So exactly how much should he be spending in the transfer market?

How much we have to spend would depend on FFP. Our turnover is £24m plus we can lose up to a further £13m. However after wages and running costs are factored in I wouldn't imagine there is much left over. £2-3m maybe?

Tans been burnt too many times. Any time hes given a manger some dough hes ended up with the likes of Bacuna, Flint and Marlon ****ing Pack.
Hes still looking for the next Jamie Vardy. Weve got more chance of signing Jay Slater.
Colin had been around the block too many times for the 3 amigos.

Re: The Transfer Window Rumours thread
Cenk Tosun, 33 year old former Everton striker, has just come on for Turkey and is currently a free agent, just saying like.

Re: The Transfer Window Rumours thread
Ryan Kent apparently going to be a free agent in the summer
didn't we put in a bid in last January or show some sort of interest ?

Wiki seems to suggest he signed a 4 year contract in June 2023.

Happy Cardiff City Transfer Week!!!!
This is the week.
Erol says we're negotiating with three.
Abandndanntanto says six.
What says you?
I think we sign Kieffer and that's it. I think Ryan Kent goes to whoever offers him the most money and that won't be us.

Its been slow but should kick off soon, not sure what to expect, hopefully Bulut and the board will find a few gems. I suppose it sounds positive if we are negotiating with three to six players!

Definitely need more pace, both physically and mentally.

The way we played last year pace is useless. They'd just get up the pitch quicker and have to stand there longer without the ball. We just do not utilise pace well.
And before his excuse makers rock up, if he wanted pace why didn't he get some with the 14? transfers he was allowed to make.

Inside sources have revealed City were approximately £49.5 million short in their bid for Olise. Shame as I think he’d have thrived in the Championship under Bulut.

To be fair, I feel a little sorry for Wales Online, they had to report on one of the most boring teams in the league through the season and now they’re trying to find something to do say about what is probably the most boring team in the Championship when it comes to transfer activity through the summer - there’s been so little newsworthy stuff coming out of Cardiff City over the last two months.
I saw a prediction that we would finish 23rd over the weekend, based on our summer so far, you can’t blame people thinking like that.

Didn't they think the same last year though Bob?
I agree with them, if our team stays as it is.
But we're going to sign a bunch of 31 year old Greek & Turkish superstars which will help. Even after narrowly missing out on Olise, I'm still confident with the signings to come, we can finish 18th.
Can't wait. It's so exciting :ayatollah:

Re: The Transfer Window Rumours thread
Hopefully we sign Eze instead of Olise.
Chelsea may look to cash in on Palmer as well so plenty of options.
Bulut will have them drilled and tracking back in no time.

BBC are reporting that Everton have reached an agreement with Hull for a transfer with a fee of around £16 million for Jaden Philogene.

Seems hull are feeling the pinch after gambling on going up last season. 16M should go a long way to relieve that though.
