"I'm convinced that death is not the end for us whatever happens after that"
This subject has come from a question in the Drones discussion, and the title is using a comment made by Stevo.
So this matter can be discussed here instead of hijacking the other thread. On this occasion I was neither reponsible for the question on life after death or the fact that Jeepster doesn't want to live for ever, particularly now parenthood and CCFC have fulfilled all his earthly dreams.

Re: "I'm convinced that death is not the end for us whatever happens after that"
To pick up the thread:
I (TP) said: I don't really WANT to pay taxes, but the fact is, I have to. So the issue isn't about what we want, rather, what is.
Jeepster replied: So i do not have a choice?

Well these bodies of ours do fall apart and are obviously not eternal, but according to 'the manufacturer' our spirit & soul cannot be destroyed. So planning for our eternal destiny is certainly recommended.
This article explains it this way:-
Seasons come and go, but does anything in this life truly satisfy? The answer in Ecclesiastes is, no, all is vanity (Ecclesiastes 1:2). However, through all the ups and downs and vicissitudes of life, we have a glimpse of stability
—God has “set eternity in the human heart” (Eccl 3:11).
"Life is but a vapour" (James 4:14), but we know there is something past this life. We have a divinely implanted awareness that the soul lives forever. This world is not our home.

I've always had a gut feeling that death is not the end, but what clinched it for me, was watching countless NDE videos on YouTube and other related topics. But I'm particularly interested in the reincarnation trap that's keeping us imprisoned on this planet. Worth noting that in the event of your death avoid the bright light and demand an alternative exit out of the darkness. You're welcome.

NDE in the majority of cases provide evidence that mirrors God's Word when it talks about the soul.
For example: "I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows. And I know that this man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows—was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell".
2 Corinthians 12:2-4.
Reincarnation is a false flag - read Hebrews 9:27.

Re: "I'm convinced that death is not the end for us whatever happens after that"
The theory I’ve heard is that there are good and bad aliens. The bad aliens essentially control this planet and are in collaboration with the US government (secret services, not Congress etc.) In return for advanced tech, the aliens are allowed to abduct so many people and mutilate so many cattle. Except the Americans don’t know these anliens anre evil and meanwhile the good aliens are keeping a watching brief. They are trying to drip feed us in terms of ufo disclosure. This started with the drones back in November and we can expect them to up the ante very soon.
It’s also the bad aliens who have created the reincarnation trap. Oh, and most importantly, they created religions to keep us in control. This is why the Bible is so well written for its age. They’re also the ones selecting people for NDEs to reinforce religious beliefs. Depending on what faith you have (or not) will determine who you meet in your NDE.
Now, I’m not saying any of this is true (or that I believe it), but it seems infinitely more believable that God / religion, etc.
Did you watch that video I posted in the drones thread?

I've watched the first section up to the mention of 'God's' who walked among us. I will watch the rest hopefully tomorrow.
1. You are aware of the chapter concerning the 'Sons of God' in Genesis 6 and the book of Enoch I presume?
2. You say, "but it seems infinitely more believable that God / religion" - yet what factor/s do you base that on?

I wouldn't engage with the mindless lunatics on this thread if I'm honest. The amount of drugs they consume must be staggering.

Why do all your replies come from a book of crap.

I am having a dialogue with Stevo, so unless you have anything to add or ask I suggest you try and derail another thread because it's not going to happen here or anywhere else two adults are communicating with each other.

I was excercising patience waiting for the person actually involved in this dialogue when you jumped in; Jesus excercised perfect patience, but He also explained that we should not suffer fools gladly.

It's good to know that you are not entirely ignorant of what the scriptures say, well done.

To be honest. Entirely ignorant would probably be a pretty good description of my personality as a whole 🤣.
I do admire your perseverance in continuing to try and educate us godforsaken lot on here.

Well knowledge is a step in the right direction, but in the end we have to want and select what God is offering us.
God has not forsaken any individual, it is we who reject or accept Him, then we get to live & die with that permanent decision.
Here is a guy who apologises to Ray Comfort TEN YEARS after walking away from him, as in the last decade he discovered the truth for himself - Ten years on

Sorry for the slow reply, although it looks like others here have kept you busy :hehe:
All my life I have kept an open mind on the possibility of alien life, although if I ever had to make a choice, I would have put money on us not being the only life in the Universe.
However, since the drone story that started at the end of last year, my interest in UFOs/aliens has been reignited. This led me on to the US Congressional hearings in 2023 and 2024, where this topic was being discussed candidly thanks to various high-ranking whistle blowers. We have already had disclosure on UFOs effectively, even though it's not being discussed much in the media, which is interesting in itself.
Now, if we now accept the fact that alien life exists and has visited this planet for decades, it seems reasonable to conclude that we have been visited for millennia. And if so, it would explain a lot of the mysteries surrounding Earth's history (ancient civilisations etc.) and religion, including many stories in the bible. Everything is starting to make sense to me.
The bottom line is, there is much more evidence to support the existence of alien life than the existence of (your) God. I've since learnt of many theories about all life in the Universe being a single consciousness, which has led me down a different spiritual path than you. Quantum physicists are starting to draw similar conclusions about the nature reality and the multi-dimensional universe. Everything is coming together nicely in our collective understanding of reality. And we can expect full UFO disclosure from the Trump administration this year (probably about the only thing they're good for, but that's another topic).

Ok, so you have become aware that this 'flesh & blood' existence is not all there is to life. Agreed.
You have become aware of claims concerning the Nephelim, the Pyramids and other unexplained worldwide phenomena and you have sought answers to these.
Next you have found an answer that does the following:-
1. Gives an explanation that satisfies you and ties a lot of these mysteries together.
2. Mentions the Biblical accounts and plants seeds of doubt on their reliability.
3. Makes 'truth claims' about a large narritive based on texts left by the sumerians and other ancient peoples.
Would this be a fair summary of where you are up to now?
