Another thing though, remember when card use first reared its ugly head, people were warned to guard their card with their life, don’t let prying eyes catch a glimpse, treat folk too close to you as a security threat etc etc. Now punters are tapping their particulars into random faceless machines on bar counters without a care in the world. Are these machines infallible? Machines that are gathering your financial information.
Another thing, part 2:hehe: Say you go out with £100 in your wallet, lose it half way through the night, you might be £50/£60 down. Lose your wallet with cards in (contactless has a field day) or your phone with your financial information installed, the nightmare begins, the initial panic, the cancelling of cards etc, it’d be like your right arm was cut off.
I’ll stick to cash, simpler, safer & financially more sensible I reckon.
