Do you own a diary ?

I always get an old school ring binder diary at this time of year

A5 Size , week in front of me

Very little in it of course apart from wake up , put out bins , city v Blackburn etc

But I am old school , paper and pen

Post it notes , to do lists

Seems like everyone has everything on their phone these days

Far too complicated for me

I am not having that

Oh yes a paper diary for me too. Tried the one on the phone, not very user friendly, bit like the city website.

Good lad. When the police come knocking your ‘To do lists’ and diary entries will save them the time of collecting any evidence as you’d have scribed perfectly your misdemeanours all on paper.

I will admit to pouring some unused flora olive oil down the sink last year as it was past its sell by date

If that clogs up the drains and they have to come and unblock them them then I am done for

And if they dig up the patio its curtains

Yep,diary for me too. Labour party meets and so on. Nothing incriminating mind you, dates with Sludge etc stay in my head. 😛

Dont agree with you at all Sludge. Look what charisma has done for UK and USA. BJ and Trump have completely f ucked up their countries.
Starmer is just what the Labour party needs at the moment. He is left wing but he doesn't need to be radical, all he needs is for the Tories to continue messing up. Eventually, in 4 years time I expect him to come along and start picking up the pieces of our fractured country.

hope your right ,the last lot were not very good, I don't think he is that left wing though , in my humble opinion he is playing that tune to keep some of the radicals/ supporters happy , it is well in his gift to win seats back, but full power is a challenge without SNP support however that deal has tge threat of Indy 2 wrapped into that ??

I do think Labour missed a wonderful chance to elect a different option of a real working class Northern based leader ,not one from London's elite , and very importantly its first woman leader in Lisa Nandy

I was very tempted to vote for Nandy as I really felt Labour should have a female leader but I took the safe option.
Hopefully, if Labour have the majority in Wales next year and Drakeford stands down mid term, as promised, the excellent Eluned Morgan may have the chance to be the first female leader in Wales.

her father the rev Bob Morgan was a key figure in promoting the positive side of ely and also did his best to make sure the riots on the estate did not escalate within the estate and was a key person who talked to those involved , the local community and the police , many of whom were drafted in from the west country , gwent , west Midlands etc and didn't know the local people like he did
