I'm waiting for the "..we believe Omer is the person to take this club back into the Championship, and he will have the full backing of the board.."
Jimmy Thelin would be a good choice, compensation might be a problem though.
Whoever it is hope that tan and co finally learn their lesson and hire a proper manager.
I know you have to be careful not to go back to the well too often as it might run out but…
Who’s next off the managerial production line at the mighty Cheshunt?
Step forward David Peter Gray. He would be my choice. Young, keen, getting an average Hibs squad into 3rd place in the SPL behind the ugly sisters.
you can throw all the usual suspects around and i can guarantee that it won't be any of them
I see it's all gone quiet about this painter/decorator taking over
Have any odds been released? I can't find anything on some betting websites I've tried
Well if rambo wants it it's his now isn't it? It's the ccfc rule anyway.
Whether we stay up or not.
Can't wait for the chants of aaron ramsey we want you to stay at Norwich.
Do you live next door to him at 134?
:hehe:
And works down our chip shop
Anyone remember when the club were looking for a new manager after Steve Morison was fired, 2022 if my memory serves me well. A few on here were shouted down when they mentioned Scott Parker who had just been released by Bournemouth. Not doing too bad now at Burnley is he?
Now that we are going down there might be a few more realistic options. Steve Evans, Ian Holloway, Paul Ince, Steve Cotterill, Lee Johnson. Is Mad dog Allen still around?
Ramsey qualifies by our tried and tested method of passing by the door at the time. I wouldn't mind though; someone new to build again. If we get someone who "knows" League 1 and is successful then we'll have a lower league manager the year after who might struggle in the championship (eg. Paul Warne, Michael Duff). Getting ahead of myself I know, especially since we're going to storm the next two games.
You would hope that they would be sensible and go for someone like Michael Duff, if limiting their choices to manager's currently available.
But you can never really tell now with this club on what they will do.
I honestly yearned for the boring tranquility of a Russell Slade like appointment after Bulut got the sack - but they chanced it yet again on an unproven coaching assistant, so what's to say they don't go and do that again?
Tony Mowbray has been out of a job for 50 minutes.
