I did a tiny bit of running trying to trim down for my wedding but I’ve noticed I’m getting pain in my one hip and I think I’m compensating - think I’ve got a slight instep
Where can I get my alignment checked and insoles just for light treadmill work?

Possibly think about going to see a specialist chiropodist.
They can design insoles and supports specific to you.
I had some made a few years ago as I was training for a triathlon and they made a huge difference.
On the other hand as you indicated that you are carrying a bit of excess timber and are having hip pain you may want to look at non weight bearing exercise such as swimming or cycling.
Inserts will only correct issues with your running style/gait but if you are damaging hips/knees because of the excess weight then you could be on the path to joint replacement.
Just stop running.
Ask the Sole Crew.

Not cheap but will be bespoke for you.
There's a website for everything these days:

Right hip/right knee/left ankle pain was solved for me by a combination of 3/4 length insoles and making sure the heels of various pairs of walking shoes were built back up to their original shape using a repair "glue". £20 and right as rain.
Bought loads of these to deal with foot back issues form old footy injuries in my opinion these are the best had them in use now for 5 years

More money yes but worth it in the long run ( excuse the pun )
Good luck nothing better than being free of foot/ leg pain
One leg longer/shorter than the other perhaps?
