    Newport County

    Looking for a new manager

Newport County can confirm that manager Graham Coughlan has left his post at the club by mutual consent.

Bit of a shock that one. Apparently Jenkins wants to take County in a different direction. Maybe a foreign coach even?

That would be a good idea because if they carry on in the same direction they will end up back in non-league

For Welsh football and fans of the club that would be very sad having watched them come from the depths of no where to beat or compete with very good clubs in the FA Cup .

Last season, every time they got within touching distance of the play-offs they had a bad result or two and gradually fell away. I'd much prefer they were on an upward trajectory rather than Wrexham. Nothing against the gogs, I just prefer Cwnty.
