Surely you had faith in the board to celebrate our anniversary in such stellar style?

Do people really care who we play in pre season? its a runaround to get their fitness up (and work on tactics for our expansive attacking football) and possibly the most minutes the kids will get all year

Usually I'd agree with you but as its the 125 year thing and in years gone by the club has managed to get Ajax, Betis here for a friendly, I was hopeful we get an attractive fixture.

To be fair, the club staff have been busy mind, fannying about the manager.

It's another example for me in the people running the club are waank.

Maybe I'm less bothered about City than I first realised, but even with the 125 year thing I don't see the big deal.
I know we've had some decent teams in the past, was at the Ajax game, got bolloxed after it with loads of dutch buying the rounds, didn't put my hand in my pocket maybe im mixing my games up but I remember loads of dutch in the piss in Cardiff, maybe we had a scrap with Ajax and weren't on the piss, it was years ago.
Didn't we also play Valencia and some German team?

I'm wondering how many teams declined an invitation before Kidderminster said yes?

Surely the Cardiff City Stadium isn't ready for the early fixtures? Would be iinteresting hosting Real Madrid at the athletics track.

Bring back Warnock so we could at least have a few days in Cornwall.

Across the road from Asda - it's the athletics ground with one stand.

I thought pre-season was organised in the dregs of the previous winter. I remember Dave Jones not being particularly enamoured (yeah, I know) with having to go to Scotland in 2005 cos Lennie had already arranged it before getting the push. This doesn't feel like it was sorted in February.

It's the Andy Dibble influence. Putting his son in the spotlight, maybe?
