    No Wintle, no Romeo.

Good to see Ng and King back in there though, and Kpakio given the opportunity

No Romeo, Conte or Wintle. Surprised Keiron Evans isn't going, but it's good to see Kpakio (is he our second choice right back at the moment?), Joel Colwill and Fagan-Walcott there.

    Conte is on plane.

Surprised about Wintle, in fact shocked really. Clearly Romeo on way somewhere. Hope Evans fi is a decent club.Think he can offer something to lg1/2 club.

Bulut gave him a 3 year deal last summer as well when some questioned that. Great move....

From the odd couple of games that I watched Conte last season, he's real prospect.

If we get a fee then it is arguable that Bulut did the right thing

No Matthew Turner - Jake Dennis still the 3rd goalkeeper. Injured I assume.

No Joel Bagan. He hasn't been injured.

Surprised that Andy Rinomhota is in the squad. I expected a transfer announcement soon.

Chris Willock doesn't make the squad, but Chambers does.

    Wintle must be injured?

Conte must have a loan deal lined up?

Edit: Squad above has bottom line cut off. Both Conte and Willock included!

My mistake - I didn't see Bagan. And I just looked at the squad list above in the thread which has cut off the bottom two names - Willock and Conte.

    Re: Confirmed Squad For Austria

Tried to split them up into rough positions - obviously there are several who can play more than one position

    GK
    Alnwick
    Horvarth
    Dennis

    CB
    Goutas
    Chambers
    McGuinness
    Fagan-Wacott

    LB
    Collins
    Bagan

    RB
    NG
    Kpakio

    CM
    Ralls
    Ramsey
    Rinomhota
    Siopis
    Turnbull
    J Colwil
    Conte
    King

    AM/W
    R Colwill
    Ashford
    O'Dowda
    Tanner
    Willock

    CF
    Etete
    Davies
    Robinson
    Meite

    Re: Confirmed Squad For Austria

I'd like to see this game in pre season:

    Horvarth/Alnwick

    Ng Goutas. Chambers. Collins

    Siopis Turnbull

    Willock Ramsey. O'Dowda

    Robinson/Meite

    Vs

    Etete

    Ashford R Colwill Davies

    J Colwill King

    Bagan. McGuiness. Fagan-Walcott Kpakio

    Dennis

    Old Vs young.

id expect the olds to win, but would be interesting to see, especially if the young team won.

I'm not sure its as set as you think.

Youngs have more mobility in midfield and a more fluid front 4.. Olds lose this game in midfield IMO.

I think team old dominates this game but the Gen-z team might get something on the counter

From midfield? I'm not so sure. Interesting to have different opinions though.

This would be the only pre-season I'd pay to watch. Great idea!

id also like to see us switch to a 3-5-2 formation, but I don't think we'd have enough centre backs to make that work

    Re: Confirmed Squad For Austria

So what has happened to Luey Giles who played so well in a brief cameo performance versus Southampton at the end of last season?

    Re: Confirmed Squad For Austria

Not a bad looking squad....until you get to the strikers. One or two with a decent shout of getting a run in the first team, but still short of quality.

Premier League young loans have provided the best players in the Championship over the last few seasons, we have to get that right!
