Thread: Callum Robinson's attitude.

  1. #1

    Callum Robinson's attitude.

Has anyone noticed how encouraging Callum Robinson is to the rest of the team, particularly the younger players?

I've heard and seen him praise City players and also encourage the fans to acknowledge when a player has done well.

It's great to see. He comes across as a good fella.

He's well pumped up after Tanner's goal here

    Re: Callum Robinson's attitude.

He's going to be so important this season and not just for his team bonding

People say he's not a traditional striker and more of a front runner who scores a few

I think if he stays injury free he will get plenty of goals this season

Don’t think he is a traditional striker, but he’s the best option we have currently to play as one. I can remember some”in the know” saying during the summer that Tyrese Campbell (ex Stoke) would be a good back up option to the “proven” striker we were going to sign.

I really like him. Hope he stays fit and stays in the starting XI when the new guy gets here.

I really like Robinson, I have it in my head that he stood up to Bulut, told him what us fans were thinking. “Your football is shite, your tactics are shite, your attitude is shite, all in all you’re shite” and this is what led to him, more or less being frozen out. I may be well off the mark but it’s what I want to believe. His celebration on Sunday in front of us was as if he was one of us, the relief of Bulut’s bullet seemed to explode from him at that moment, I loved it.

Yeah, seems like a good guy to have in the squad, good to see him taking on more of a leadership role as one of our senior players.

Again, showed his class yesterday by applauding every positive piece of play and jeeing the crowd up further when his teammates scored.

Glad he got one himself. He was important even without his goal by making all the dummy runs.

I think he could be a contender for the nicest guy in the team.

He's our top forward , no need to buy a striker

Every need to buy a striker
If he gets injured who’s going to replace him?
Kanga couldn’t hit a cows arse with a banjo

What if he has a poor run of form, it happens

We are woefully short of options up front and if ever it needed reinforcing, look where we are in the league table

With a decent striker we would have a real chance of making progress

The Championship is relentless, Saturday,Tuesday, Saturday

We need options all over the park and if we continue to play on the front foot like yesterday we will need someone to puts those chances away

Good sporting gesture by Reza though bringing Kanga on and effectively putting us down to 10 men

Kanga and Méïté wouldn't be able to find a banjo in a banjo shop.

We have a number of forwards on our books apart from Robinson

We simply don't have the money to go out and buy or pay the wages of new personell

It's more important that our midfield and flair and wide players are showing form

we do have Isaac Davies almost ready to come back, and I think his game would really suit the way Riza has us playing at the moment.
Etete also I'd like to see in a side that attack with more numbers
