    Derby sack Warne

Got um promotion last year sacked after a poor run of form.
Seems strange to wait till after the transfer window closes.

Maybe no money for transfers so waited?

They had to do something they are in freefall and had lost at least six league games in a row, without looking further back.

Sometimes I think decisions like this are made purely in the hope of the proverbial 'new manager bounce'. If it means they get a couple of wins they wouldn't have had under Warne that could probably be the difference between relegation and staying up..

Apparently seven lost in a row.

Shame for him though as they are probably where most people would have thought they would be, it's just that terrible run that can sometimes be hard to get out of.

Let's hope the change of manager works about as well as it has for Plymouth so far.

They could get Rooney back. The one place he left with some credit. That would be funny!

Odd to sack him on a Friday afternoon with them playing tomorrow unless they’ve got someone to come in straight away.

    He’s the league 1 Warnock.

Can get promoted but keeps taking teams back down

Don't you think it might have something to do with them losing their last seven games?

That could be a problem for us, he'll improve them.

He must really not be happy with the owners. Even then going from a chance at the PL to a chance of league 1 is quite something.

Cue 70 day plus wait to appoint the first team coach as manager.
