It's not a bad thing when you have dependable players in your team. Probably just before we acquired O'Dowda I mentioned that we needed more players akin to Don Cowie, who whilst not spectacular, would always give you a 7 out of 10 performance. This was at a time when Vaulks, Bacuna, Pack, Ojo etc were regulars.
So whilst O'Dowda has proved to be a successful signing, he is not the type of player to get the team to a higher level. Most definitely a Championship mid table player.
