Thread: Slaphead

    Slaphead

Anyone else noticed the latest spate of a goal scorers head getting a good slapping from their congratulating team mates. Is it to make up for the reduced headers now allowed on the training ground? If I was slapped repeatedly on the head after putting my team in front I’d knock the fecker out mun.

There's this new Phenomenon on Tick Tock, old Benny Hill sketches, where he slaps that old short bald bloke on the head several times. It's huge at the moment, all the youngsters are at it.

I'm a slaphead and was at some pantomime or other at The Pavillion Theatre Glasgow about 25 years ago when the panto policemen and the audience took great pleasure when the policemen came down to the front row of the stalls and started assaulting my head with their (plastic) truncheons.
Even my young son nearly wet himself laughing, I was laughing too but thinking hiss of you pair of top hats.
    Oh yes I did!

That's a great story, we need more Pantomime anecdotes on here. I saw Linda Lusardi at the New Theatre about 15 years ago, she was starting to tail off in terms of beauty, but she still did it for me.

I doubt she did anything for you, as her husband Sam Kane was appearing in the same panto.
My panto anecdote is that I was once sat behind a well known message board owner watching a show at the New Theatre. I believe his daughter was one of the dancers.

Remember the days of page 3 pictures all over factory walls and the like. I always enjoyed the accompanying article which went along the lines of "Suzi loves politics and would like nothing more than world peace" I always thought it was a nice touch.
