    Tonights Football

Some end to the game at Rotherham, Wycombe win 3-2, to go back 2nd. 3 goals in stoppage time, one from Rotherham, two from Wycombe. Bit of a pisser for Wrexham.

I can't do with Wrexham, and i hope they miss out. The blokes running the club are doing a great job by the looks of things, but they're a club i'm not particularly keen on.

Same here, all a bit phoney if you ask me.

Are they any more phoney than Tan's Redbirds?

    That was another level altogether.

Should City stay up (and I believe we will), I hope Wrexham make it. We havent played them at this level since 1981 and at any level since 2002. Meanwhile, we played Wycombe in the Championship as recently as 2021. Under the circumstances, games against Wrexham next season would be much more attractive than games against Wycombe.

Wrexham are marginal favourites for promotion with the bookies and on paper they appear to have a slightly more favourable run-in. Looks like an exciting end to the season for them - again.

Nothing really phoney about it though is it. I mean Birmingham and Wycombe also have wealthy owners whove splashed some cash, considerable amounts in Birminghams case.

The 2 actors have down a remarkable job with Wrexham, seems everyone was right behind it when they were little old Wrexham trying to get out of the National league, now because of continued success , it seems its more fashionable to criticise them.

It would be an amazing achievement to gain another promotion, though unless they have other investors lined up, they could find the Championship a financial challenge. They certainly look like theyve done everything the right way with the fan base and the town which is much more than could be said for our owner

Wouldn't mind Wrexham going up, if City do or staying in League One if City drop.

A game against Wrexham would generate a bit of interest and would be preferable than playing Wycombe or Bolton, for me.

I've always likened the town of Wrexham to being the Welsh equivalent of Fraggle Rock. It's got some colourful characters but in reality I don't understand any of them or why they're so fuucking parochial.

I'm going to stop short and insinuate they're all scouse sounding, druid loving weirdos but let's face it all Gogs are just fuucking odd.

Let them have their day in the sun, as they're still worshipping it.

I mean from the Welcome To Wrexham point of view. Would be interesting to watch a Welcome To Cardiff mind starring our bunch …..and Dai Hunt.
