We're 13/10..they're 19/10
Strange
I know they haven't played against the best opposition, but North Macedonia has kept 6 clean sheets in a row.
Only thing I can think of is, when they drew against England and Italy, the MaccLads probably sat back all game.
Against us they'll probably attack.
Probably because we're almost 30 places higher than them in the rankings, are unbeaten under the new manager and haven't lost a competitive game since June 2023
For all the talk of the Italy and England results, they were smashed in the return leg of both. For all the talk of how good they are at home, they've recently lost to both Georgia & Azerbaijan comfortably and only squeeked passed Malta, Latvia & Faroe Islands
It'll be tough, especially as its part 2 of a double header, but Wales as slight favourites makes perfect sense
I was referring specifically to the away games at North Macedonia...nothing to so with the home games.
I guess you'll be placing a large wager on Wales later then?
I don't know what part of the post suggests I think its a given we'll win to the extent I'd put a large bet on? Just pointing out what contributes to Wales being slight favourites
Even if you ignore half of their form, their home form is... fine. Statement draws against England (already qualified) & Italy (didn't make the last WC) aside they've lost comfortably to Georgia & Azerbaijan, also lost to Bulgaria and only beat Latvia & Faroe Islands by a goal
It'll be a tough game, no doubt, and I think we could lose, but I also don't think its a shock we're favourites
Gibraltar are unbeaten in their last five home games yet the Czech Republic are massively odds on despite not winning in five away games
