I saw Reindorf get a hat-trick against Pontypridd recently. Very energetic and a real handful for the 90 minutes. I wouldn't say that makes him a Championship striker though. If he holds his own in training, maybe gives Goutas and Chambers the run around and shows up well in other areas too then that doesn't necessarily make him a Championship striker either. If injuries give him a chance against League 1 opposition and he puts in a lively, promising performance then neither does that. What more can he do though? The injuries aren't his fault, nor Kanga's fitness. He's putting his name forward, good luck to the guy.

Any side that loses three strikers through injury and has a fourth unfit would expect to be less competitive, of course, but I'm not sure how a club is meant to legislate for it. In that situation, if your sixth choice striker is a teenager who's showing some promise then I'd expect any fanbase to be positive and optimistic about him but you want to pick holes in everything here. Each to their own.
