Fans of Premier League clubs will pay no more than £30 for tickets to away matches for the next three seasons.
The cost of watching football has been a hot topic of debate, with supporters at Liverpool organising a high-profile protest over proposed increases in season ticket prices.
Now the top flight's 20 clubs have "unanimously agreed" that more should be done to help away fans.
The £30 away ticket cap will be introduced from next season.
In a statement, the Premier League said away fans were "essential for match atmosphere" and helped make the league unique.
It also recognised that away fans often had travel costs to pay on top of the price of a matchday ticket.

Its a victory for the supporters movement, although we have campaigned for years at the FSF for "twentys plenty" this has to be a step in the right direction...on the back of this I don't see how championship clubs like Leeds, Ipswich etc can justify tickets over £30 for away fans and we are hopeful that a cap can be put on Football league tickets for away fans as well Maybe £25 or £20 in the Championship and £20 or £15 in the next two leagues?
A step in the right direction, but I don't think it goes far enough.
Even if they made them free it would barely effect the finances, and generate such a good atmosphere.
Does that mean the Championship clubs will follow suit?
Arsenal must be gutted.
Which was the penultimate year of our darkest timeline.
FSF have been campaigning for a number of years for a cap at £20 and while a cap much lower than the horrific prices charged (fans paying over £30 to watch the lackadaisical performances put in so frequently throughout the leagues should make the players feel absolutely sick) considering the bumper TV deal this doesn't quite feel like a reward for fans, rather the absolute minimum the club could have given back. There is still room for greater opportunities for cheaper prices for home games and generally treating the fans as vital parts of their club if the Premier League does want to go to the level above.
Some common sense coming form the premier league overlords!?!? Whatever next. Your move football league.
