It's liquid gold Bob , I am having crazy dreams
For example the other day I was actually turned down by a woman for a date , which is unheard of
It was of course the drugs talking
Gis your England ticket sludge
An ex of mine had a couple of brandies whilst taking Night Nurse for the flu - and saw small elephants dancing on the ceiling.
Double the dose of night nurse , flying teapot time
It's got to be the green one , daytime is useless
Benylin is for lightweights , night nurse is hardcore
I am in no way condoning such flagrent misuse of over the counter medicine , having said that potters used to do a cough mixture and that was rocket fuel
I remember trying to write an essay on the decline of the inner cities on that stuff whilst suffering from the flu and it was like the scrawlings of a maniac when I read it two days later

Some interesting comments under it.
As a lover of language (and indeed languages) I see both sides of the argument. One the hand it is useful to know what grammatical 'rules' were once set down and on the other hand it is true to say that language does evolve regardless of the fact that it may upset those who want to set it in stone.
My personal take on it is that I like to know the 'rules' but take delight in deliberately breaking them. For example, starting a sentence with 'And' (a heinous crime to Victorian grammarians) can have far more impact than merely using it as a conjunction in a sentence.
I'm wild, I am
