Teresa may said Britain is open for business, or did she mean up for sale?

Totally expected, it's what happens when you vote a Tory government into power.

But really who gives a shit who owns it.
They're now shareholders that will want the company to succeed. Emphasis on a sale of "shares". It remains British.
They wanted to sell up, who cares.
It is a private company.
Labour wouldn't be able to stop transactions as much as people presume.

My mistake.
I don't think it comes down to the Tories.
Whether a faceless British person is a majority share holder or an arab, it doesn't really matter to me. It is not like British business leaders of huge corporations care about the common man or women anyway. They are british in name only.
It is a private company and there is very little the government can do. Or we could nationalise it with that ever growing pot of debt.
People cried foul when Tata motors took over Jaguar Land Rover. Look how successful that has turned out.
