Etheridge's distribution is worse than Marshall's. Distribution from the 'keeper is important, even more so if you are not playing it from the back. Unless you think it makes sense to have the ball coming back at you from every goal kick.Unless Glenn Hoddle has become a goal keeper in later life I dont think there's a keeper in the world, let alone the championship, who can accurately ping goal kicks 60/70 yards to a team mate. Going high and long from a goal kick always has, and always will be, a 50-50.
