Just realised that finals day is 2nd September. Sept 3rd will be the 40th anniversary of Glamorgans first one day final against Middlesex at Lords for those old enough to remember it. My first trip ever to Lords and only my second visit to London. (Had gone up the year before to see City win at Charlton). Mike Llewellyns six onto the roof of the pavilion that day was massive. Where have those forty years gone.
