My wife has expressed her concerns to our doctor who told her "if you don't get it no one will" which is a bit of a mixed blessing to be honest!!

She has only just come out if UHW after a six week stay and the physio were greatly concerned about her mobility which should help.

I'm worried that she may be in again before Xmas.

Ho hum.

Sorry for deviating from thread people.

Can't be bothered to mess about with PM
I am really sorry to hear that

A nurse I know suffered a blood clot which has left her housebound , barely able to walk and she has put on loads of weight

She was refused the new benefit and was told to appeal but she couldn't deal with the stress , she's in a very bad way

It's a disgrace , it really is

However in your wife's case you must fight all the way and get an advocate to act on your behalf , taking it to tribunal if you have to
Riverside advice centre in Cardiff are very good , Google them or I will dig out the number for you

Take care mate
