The beginning of the season is irrelevant. Targets and expectations can change as the season progresses.
We’ve spent over 10m ourselves so it won’t be that much of a miracle if we make the play offs above the likes of Sheffield United, Preston, Brentford.etc
Automatics would be a miracle given the money Wolves, Villa and Derby have spent but it’s not like the whole division have spent massively and we haven’t.
In terms of budget then play offs should be our target.
