I saw that, I agree there wasn't much force used, but he definitely meant it.
It must run in the family.

Considering the game itself was hardly a classic the 13 min package on ifollow was quite entertaining! What it did show, that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere else is that about halfway through the second half Paterson gets bundled into touch right on top of the away dugout and their manager can clearly be seen stamping on the back of Paterson's calf. There isn't much force, but it is certainly intentional and Paterson clearly reacts to the incident. It's not often I take a dislike to the opposition's manager, but have to say, he is an exception. You get the feeling if the roles were reversed and it was our manager who kicked out in this manner he would be up before the FA in no time.

Forgot all about that! Little wonder our gaffer got not time for either of them! The reply leaves no doubt as to his intention.
If its that intentional in its appearance, then someone from the club needs to submit it to the FA
Need Steve R to upload.
Intentional use of the hands right in Paterson's face. Straight red.

And let’s be honest here, there is little to dislike about Lee Johnson.
I’ve disagreed in the past with the team and formation - particularly last season - but he’s not a dislikeable bloke at all.
No - it is football. He is very fortunate to have dodged a red card for that. It is a deliberate swinging arm to the face. It is not the flailing arm for balance you often see when two players jump for the ball together. That is violent play - intentional and cynical. You got lucky again.
I think you'd prefer that.
The incident was right in front of us.
He swung his fist out - straight into Patterson's face.
Clear sending off- he even had to fully extend his arm to hit him, so it wasn't like he was trying to hold him off.
Then to make it worse, the dwarf had a stamp/kick at Patterson after one of your other goons wrestled him into touch.
Luckily he's a tough old boy and just got on with it.
He had the last laugh too - the result. Cheats never prosper.
