I am a cricket fan (includes Glammy) but I also pay a large chunk of community charge and was very disappointed at the decision to not bid for a test match for 6 years.
The staging of Test matches would have brought in huge revenue for the City and the CCC and I am sure played a big part in the council's decision to bail out GCCC.
Doesn't sit right with me TBH
