It's almost certain that the information referred to in the article will be released at some point. This leads to two options, innocence or wrongdoing by government institutions. If it's the latter, the scandal becomes a global conspiracy and it's a case of who knew what and when, who the ringleaders are, and who was doing the covering up, etc..
