Neil Warnock is one of my favourite managers, but his time with us had run its natural course the moment we got relegated. The best argument made for him to continue, was that he deserved another go for what he had done in the two seasons prior to our promotion to the Premier League. Unfortunately there was no long-term development plan to justify the decision.
