I don't have a clue what he means? The virus can kill; the virus can be responsible for secondary infections that kill; the virus can make other conditions lethal where otherwise the person would not be dead. All this stuff about people dying of the virus or with the virus is just semantics - the additional deaths that come with Covid 19 are due to Covid 19 - pure or impure - and that is the whole story!
