Maybe she needs the money from her job for rent and food?

So why is she going on national TV complaining about getting paid for doing nothing? Just take the money, work when she needs to and be happy!

I’ve no idea, I don’t know her. I can’t really add to my previous posts, I am really just not personally invested enough to get into a long-winded debate about her next job move,

Perhaps she wants a fair days work for a fair days pay, perhaps she needs the job to pay bills, perhaps she feels guilty for getting paid via the taxpayer to do little but due to personal circumstances is unable to do anything about it.
If the above is close to reality then her actions would be understandable.

Why doesn't she just take the money pay her bills and keep quiet? If being paid for doing nothing upsets her so much why doesn't she quit? It's not a difficult question.

    It's not a difficult question... It's a ridiculous question.

Not sure what you're hoping to achieve here

You're right it is ridiculous, it answers itself! Achieve? an argument obviously

I hypothetically answered it for you, if you don't like the answer that is your problem.

I only hypothetically didn't like it.
The woman is getting paid about £25 an hour to watch TV and she is complaining about it. Just resign!! It's not rocket science. nobdoy is forcing her to do it!

Most people work because they need the money, if you just resign from a job it might well disqualify you from claiming benefits.

I'm fully aware of that but most people who have a job where they are getting paid good money to do sweet FA normally have the sense to keep the mouths shut their heads down and take the money.
As I keep saying, if she doesn't like it why doesn't she quit?

I've answered that, perhaps she needs the money, most people work because they need money and if you quit a job for no good reason you will not be able to claim unemployment benefit.

I'm not arguing with that, it makes perfect sense. So why does she then go on the BBC and complain about the job? Why not keep her mouth shut and take the money?

I've told you, feeling guilty perhaps, perhaps she would rather do a fair days work for a fair days pay rather than do little work for a fair days pay at the taxpayers expense but she can't afford to give the job up.

If you’re actually interested in progress and some early issues encountered with the track and trace system it’s here: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/news....y-two-11996729

Warning for xsnaggle - it includes some criticisms from semi-retired GPs and nurses who are contact tracers and were hoping to put their specialist skills to good use helping and advising the public. Hearing these senior clinicians say they’re not just happy to keep quiet and get paid for watching Netflix and doing their nails all day may tip you over the edge.

    It won't bother me.
Let me ask you a question. If someone gave you a job where they paid you about £25-27 an hour for doing nothing what would you do? (that's about £1000 a week btw)

£27 an hour now? By the end of the night, they'll be earning more than Tevez.

£17.35 per hour for daytime shifts according to this job ad. You can see they are trying to recruit qualified healthcare professionals here not people looking to make a quick buck for doing naff all.
