Aden Flint has started just one Championship game this year - the 6-1 hammering at QPR on New Year's Day. Before that he'd started pretty much every game.
As far as I'm concerned, the Morrison/Nelson partnership at the back looks considerably better than any combination involving Flint. The side not only defends better but plays a little more football from defence. I think the absence of Flint has had a positive effect on the overall shape of the team.
