    Joe Day returns to Newport.

A free transfer signing by Neil Warnock that didn’t work.

Signed as back-up, did his job, now surplus to requirements.

Was dropped from the Bristol Rovers team towards the end of the season. League 2 is probably his level. Pointless signing by Warnock and was apparently on £5k a week.

That's what I was thinking. You could have had me sat on the bench, does it mean I "did my job"?

Joe Day was our third-choice goalkeeper for most of the time that we employed him. He didn't even sit on the bench.
