I find it astonishing. The reluctance/refusal of players throughout the EFL to get vaccinated doesn`t make any sense especially when they know that a number of their fellow players have suffered with Covid, either directly or from being in contact with other players.
The clubs cannot contractually force them to be jabbed so if a player is in isolation for 10 days the club still has to pay out many £000s in wages to them without having use of the "asset". The players themselves also miss out on appearance money, win and goal bonuses etc.
