I don’t like your completely groundless accusation that I want frightened people not to be able to get their jabs - absolutely nothing I said suggests that and you’re just trying to deflect the conversation on to my attitude.

Whether you like it or not, the Prime Minister has become an issue when it comes to how to deal with Covid. Why do you think he would not answer questions from the press at his address to the nation? The answer has to be that, correctly, he figured that he’d be asked about Christmas parties/gatherings more than Covid.
