So we have a group of workers that could not do their job from home. They had to get to central London, had been advised to avoid public transport, so the journey would likely have not been easy. Restaurants and pubs closed so no where to get a meal or drink then probably a long journey home for many.
In these circumstances I think it reasonable to give them some refreshment at the end of the day before they leave work.
