Re: Chester FC Is Now English
They would have to arrest members of Cheshire constabulary then who were in attendance at the games wouldn't they ?Originally posted by trampie09 View PostThe pitch and stands are in Wales and therefore Welsh law applies, North Wales police need to arrest people if they break Welsh covid laws on Welsh territory.

If the English police are breaking the law of the land they will have to be arrested by the Welsh.Originally posted by TWGL1 View PostThey would have to arrest members of Cheshire constabulary then who were in attendance at the games wouldn't they ?
As I understand it both forces go over the border to carry out their business so there should be no issue, no fans should be allowed in the ground which is in Wales, turnstiles locked and if they start congregating outside in the car park the English police can keep law and order out there, if any get into the ground then the Welsh police should deal with them.

It doesn't matter if the Welsh consider them to be Martians, it's Welsh land and therefore it should be Welsh rules.Originally posted by cityhammer View PostIf WAG have considered them to be an english club previously when it came to claiming financial assistance, then I think they have every right to tell WAG to feck off.

Re: Chester FC Is Now English
WAG cant have it both ways, if they've already decided they are english for the sake of financial assistance they can't now decide they are welsh! which bit of that do you not understand?Originally posted by trampie09 View PostIt doesn't matter if the Welsh consider them to be Martians, it's Welsh land and therefore it should be Welsh rules.

Re: Chester FC Is Now English
Logic would indicate that you would first need to understand that the registered offices are in England, policing at the ground is carried out by English police, that even the whole of the pitch isn't in Wales.Originally posted by trampie09 View PostIt's Welsh land what bit of its Welsh land don't you understand.
Granted it's difficult for a Jack like you, regarded as a laughing stock on your own clubs forums, to understand but WG cannot pick and choose when they decide Chester may or may not be Welsh for political reasons.
Police may "investigate" but nothing will be done.`

The whole of the pitch is in Wales and all the stands where the spectators watch from is in Wales, the WG can't pick and choose because Welsh rules should apply to Welsh land and the entire playing surface as well and the stands are in Wales.Originally posted by logic View PostLogic would indicate that you would first need to understand that the registered offices are in England, policing at the ground is carried out by English police, that even the whole of the pitch isn't in Wales.

Hear hear! It's imaginary dotted lines on a map that matter in cases like this, not reality.Originally posted by trampie09 View PostThe whole of the pitch is in Wales and all the stands where the spectators watch from is in Wales, the WG can't pick and choose because Welsh rules should apply to Welsh land and the entire playing surface as well and the stands are in Wales.
