I can't understand the dislike of Wintle. He is the only midfielder who knows what is around him before he gets the ball and releases it accordingly.

But trying to play football in our midfield has probably exhausted him. I respect Tuerto's views, but I think Wintle can be a valuable player for us during the rest of the season.

Did Leeds want a loan fee for Drameh? I’ve seen it reported that we can’t pay loan fees for players under the terms of our embargo. What would be good is the club letting supporters know what we can and can’t do now under the embargo - if we knew that, we may learn that it was harder for us to make signings last month than the club’s fans thought it was.

As it is, we know that the club paid around £7 million to Nantes last month with the presumption being that we did so to bring new players in because at least part of our embargo had been lifted. In the event, we made one what looks to be desperate signing. Given what we’ve seen from the club for much of the Tan years, I’ve become so cynical now that I wouldn’t put it past the club not reading the fine print so to speak and believing that their payment would lift the embargo completely - some sort of clarification from the club would, hopefully, prove me wrong in that opinion.

The 3 sides below us brought in 26 players, nearly all on loan/out of contract. How many would have incurred a fee ? I've no idea, but mis-interpreting the rules would seem the only logical conclusion..

We have to do something, and quickly. Kaba can win headers, as can Etete. I cannot f**king believe Robinson tried a no look pen today but I think he has to play. Back 5, gets O’Dowda up the pitch, hopefully Romeo is back soon, and I’m not arsed who plays with McG and Kipre, cos neither Ng or Simpson are much kop.

Christie put him off, we are too nice, a couple of players should have been pushing him away and not allowing him to stand by Robinson talking bollox to put him off, we do need some team spirit and fight.

He won player of the year and the club made no attempt to get him back.

Terrible decisions by Dalman and Tan, lets's not appoint a Manager and try a coach, oh that's failing, let's try it again, that's failing also let's wait until it's 100% the coach is a shit Manager, and drag out additional losses and appoint a proper Manager when it's too late in the season and we can't sign any players.

I know they don't want to go down, but they deserve too, they've made a total mess of most Manager appointments.

- the huge squad upheaval last summer, which first appeared to be pretty well executed, has resulted in a number of duffers, due to too much change for too little money.
- the January transfer window was another mess, with a manager change and confusion over the embargo.
