I scuffed the sh*t out of mirrored finished alloys on a brand new 50 miles on the clock hire car a few years back. Luckily it had been raining so I mixed mud with buckets of water and went about flinging mudwater about the car as if it had driven through a load of it, giving the wheels a good coating.
